Shipping Policy
 
Shipping methods. We ship all items according to the shipping method chosen in the checkout section of this website. In some cases, only one shipping method will be offered. If no shipping methods are offered, please contact us directly to place your order. Please understand that choosing an expedited shipping service, such as overnight or two-day, does not guarantee a specific arrival date for your order. We try to ship all orders within 24-48 hours, but this time frame may be longer during busy seasons.

Shipping charges. Shipping rates quoted in this website are estimated using a calculation based on weight and dimension. We reserve the right to change the actual shipping cost before shipping products. However, we will not charge more than originally quoted without first receiving approval from the customer.

In Store Pickups . If you select "in-store pickup" as a shipping method, please call or visit our Elgin store during store business hours to arrange pickup of your item. (Ordering online for in-store pickup is currently only available at our Elgin store. Of course, you may always visit any store to make a purchase in person). If you choose this method of delivery, your card is charged at the time you place the order. Your product is reserved for a period of 14 days. After this time, your card will be refunded and your order will be restocked. For some items, in-store pickup is the only method of delivery. Such items cannot be delivered to your address becasue of size, weight, or fragility restrictions. All returns for in-store pickups must be made in person. We will not accept shipped returns of in-store pickups.
 
Return Policy
 
We accept returns of items within 30 days of delivery. Items must be in unused or like new condition and must be returned in the original packaging and be accompanied by a copy of the packing slip or receipt.

To begin the return process, call (847) 214-8440. A customer service representative will issue a return goods authorization number (RGA) and instruct you on how to return the product.

Your return package must include:

- all original parts and packaging

- return goods authorization number

- copy of packing slip

IMPORTANT: No returns will be accepted without an RGA number. You must call the toll-free number to obtain this RGA number. Do not mail your return products to us without first obtaining this number, or else your package will be refused.

NON-RETURNABLE PRODUCTS

Some products, such as gas-engine machines are not returnable to Home Plus Outlet. Products that are not returnable, in many cases, can be repaired or even returned via the manufacturer's warranty. See specific product for details.
All non-returnable products are designated as such directly on the product description page.

DISCLAIMERS

Home Plus Outlet does not refund shipping on returns. We refund the purchase price of the product only. Customers may be responsible for all return shipping costs to our warehouse. We will refund shipping costs on items that arrive to the customer damaged or defective.

Refunds must be made to the credit card used for the original purchase.

We inspect all returns made to our warehouse. We retain the right to refuse any returns. Refused returns that have already been shipped to our warehouse will not be reshipped to the customer.
